One familiar action, one absurd result

How Endless Horse Works

Endless Horse is a no-download web game with one wonderfully familiar control: scrolling. Your distance becomes horse lengths, and the page grows before you can reach a final screen.

From first scroll to impossible horse

  1. Scroll to stretch

The horse begins near the top. As you move downward, its illustrated legs continue through the track, turning an ordinary browser action into visible progress.

  2. Watch your distance grow

The depth counter converts vertical travel into horse lengths. Moving upward does not create a second celebration for a milestone you have already crossed.

  3. The page makes more horse

Whenever you approach the current bottom, another long section of track is added. The finish line keeps moving before it can appear.

  4. Milestones break up the journey

Celebrations are spaced far apart: first at 100, then 250, 500, 800, and 1,000 horse lengths, followed by even longer-distance targets.

  5. Turn a result into a challenge

After reaching a share checkpoint, post the exact distance or challenge a friend. The linked achievement page gives the next player a direct route into a run.

Built for real browsers

Controls and accessibility

Sound and visual effects are optional and can be turned off from the controls at the top. The browser remembers those choices on that device. Visitors who prefer reduced motion receive a calmer version without animated celebration effects.

The experience works on desktop and mobile, requires no account, and installs nothing. Open the page, scroll, and leave whenever you have had enough horse.

Does Endless Horse really never end?

There is no designed final screen or last pair of hooves. In normal play, the track continues to grow for as long as the page can keep extending and you are willing to keep scrolling. The real ending is whenever you decide the internet has provided enough horse for one day.
